Return Procedure

Orders 

Customers can place orders for any product available in our online catalog. If the product is in stock, it will typically be shipped the same day. For out-of-stock items, the order will be processed and shipped as per the timeline provided upon payment confirmation.

All orders are FOB (Free on Board). Customers may choose to arrange their own transportation or use our shipping services. Once your order is shipped, a notification with the tracking number will be sent.

Return Policy 

Products purchased from stock can be returned for credit, subject to the following conditions:

  1. Authorization: Obtain a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number from Customer Service before returning any products.
  2. Eligible Products: Only standard transformers with Primary Voltage of 600 or 480 Volt and Secondary Voltage of 480 or 208 Volt are eligible for return. Custom-designed or special products, including those not in stock at the time of order, are non-returnable.
  3. Condition: Products must be unused, in original condition, and suitably packaged to prevent shipping damage.
  4. Documentation: All documents and packaging must be clearly marked with the  RGA number.
  5. Freight: Returned products must be shipped freight prepaid by the purchaser.
  6. Charges: All returned products are subject to a minimum 20% restocking charge plus transportation costs. Refurbishing charges may also apply.
  7. Inspection: If returned products are found to be defective due to material or workmanship issues, full credit may be issued at the discretion of Transformer Source. If defects are due to customer error or other causes unrelated to Transformer Source, no credit will be issued.

Transformer Source reserves the right to refuse any products returned for credit.

Cancellation Policy Orders not yet shipped can be canceled by written notice. Upon confirmation of cancellation, the following charges will apply:

  1. Unprocessed Orders: $50.00 plus 5% of the total order amount.
  2. Design Stage:
    • Non-Stock Products: 15% of the total order amount.
    • Specials and Custom-Built Products: 25% of the total order amount.
  3. Production Stage:
    • Non-Stock Products: 50% of the total order amount.
    • Special and Custom-Built Products: 100% of the total order amount.
